The Handwriting Project

Do you always wonder what kind of handwriting other people have?  No?  Just me?

Well, just me and the lovely lady who tagged me for this project?

Corinne passed the handwriting project my way, and I loved seeing her writing!  It makes me happy, for some kooky reason, like I'm sitting across from her and peeking into her notebook.

So, would you like to peek into my notebook?  Here's how the project works:

Write down the following, snap a picture (or scan the document), post it, and tag others.

1. Name/Blog Name
2. Right handed, left handed or both
3. Favorite letters to write
4. Least favorite letters to write
5. Write: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
6. Write in caps:
7. Favorite song lyrics
8. Tag 7 people
9. Any special note or drawing

Now, about number 4...I know.  I know!  I like the letter E, I really do, just not when I have to write it all straight and harsh.  I have to worry about making all the lines the right length and it stresses me out.  Curve it up a little, and I love it.

Also?  Kaleidoscope is CRAZY hard to spell.

The song I quoted is a recent favorite that I can't get out of my head.  From NeedToBreathe, it's called Something Beautiful.  A few months ago, I woke up every morning for about 5 days straight, with this song playing on my radio alarm clock.  The radio station must have been in love with that song, and yes, they probably could've mixed up the variety a little bit, stuck in my mind and now I love it.  The first time I heard it -- even longer ago -- was when Lenae posted about it on her blog, but I didn't really like it then.  It took me 5 mornings in a row of hearing it in that half-waking, half-dreaming state for it to become a favorite.

I'm tagging Emily, Lenae, Robin, Lucy, and Allison -- and anyone else who wants to play along!  Please do!  And leave a comment letting me know if you're doing the handwriting project, so I can peek into your notebook!

  1. I love that song :) I heard it last week for the first time, and it blew me away!
Lovely writing! Thanks for playing :)

  2. This is such a fun idea - thanks for tagging me! I agree with you about capital I... can't stand writing all those straight lines!

  3. Mm, I love me some NeedToBreathe! I think they're the next concert I'll take my baby to :D

So, I stole two of your taggees (that's not a word, but you got me, right?) What can I say? ...It's a small blogging world :)

I like your handwriting and would appreciate some insight into how to write better S's. Mine stink.

  4. How fun, I will do it too! No promise on just when I will get around to it, maybe today. Heck, maybe right now if a baby does not start crying ;)

  5. Love this! I have a quirky curiosity on handwriting, download way to many fonts, and think your handwriting should totally be a font!
    What a fun project!

  6. Ok, clue me in on the song, pretty please?
    I don't like writing X either. It's just not pretty like, oh, S. :)

  7. Too fun! I just had to play: Here's my post. Do you know how much time I spent looking for just the right pen and paper?

  8. I heard about this through Melanie B. I had to give it a try myself. Glad to have found your blog! :-)

Hmm...And how did that make you FEEL?
