"Someday I'll have a baby in my belly. When I'm bigger and I have big, big feet, then I'll be able to have a baby in my belly."
"Mama bellies are like eggs. When the baby starts squirming around in there, I'll say hehehe, what's going ON in there? And then when the baby gets too big, and it's time for it to come out, my belly will just CRACK open. 'Cause it's like an egg. That will hurt a little bit, huh? But I won't mind. Because I'll be a mama."
"There will be a daddy with me, when I'm a mama. But I'm not sure what his name is. And I'll just name the baby....uhhhh....I'll name the baby....uhhhh....I'll name the baby....Jack. And I'll be his mama."
"Then when I'm big enough, I'll drive too. And I'll take my baby with me wherever I go in the car."
At this point, my husband burst into tears and left the room. OK, not really, but he had that look in his eye.
I love her. I mean, I haven't met her in person, but I love her. How can you not love someone who comes up with stuff like that? She is awesome. Please tell her I said so :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, I just want to hug her! How sweet...
ReplyDeleteAnd if you don't have really big feet Miss Mia, the baby in your belly will give them to you.
ReplyDeleteShe is really too cute for words.
Seriously, she and Katherine have so much to discuss. What a sweetheart! (Oh, and tell her she has a letter in the mail!)
ReplyDeleteThat is the MOST adorable thing I have ever heard!!!
ReplyDeleteMy 3 year old wants his little brother (1) to live in his belly after seeing a friend of mine who is about to pop :) And when he found out HE used to live in my belly too, he was just in awe :)
Adorable. Sounds like she and my Adeline could carry on some good conversations. Too sweet.
ReplyDeleteCute! Although I have to confess, I was hoping you'd be making an announcement at the end of that ;)
ReplyDeleteAww, so cute! The whole belly cracking open thing... pretty perceptive, Mia!
ReplyDeleteSomeday you'll have to read this to her.
If it's even possible, real childbirth sounds less painful than her version. I don't know how I'd feel about my belly just cracking open.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. My seven year old loves to play being pregnant, which is a little weird, but cute too.
ReplyDeleteShe's right. It does hurt when your belly cracks open and the baby comes out ;) So cute!
ReplyDeleteThat Mia is so stinkin cute!!
