You know... I whined and complained and fussed about our dog for years. After a hilarious-but-unfortunate incident involving the UPS man, my husband finally green-lighted the idea to give the dog to my in-laws. And now?
Nooo! Don't give in to the cuteness! You will regret it when it's 30 degrees and snowing and he needs to be walked but your baby is crying! Then again... you will love him when you see your baby's face light up every time she catches a glimpse of him.
If you give in, feel free to later complain about this decision and completely blame your husband even if you were on board initially :)
For over 10 year I said "No". I couldn't cope with a dog on top of work, home etc etc. I then said "no" to a big, hairy dog - so, what do we have ..... a big, hairy dog who is the centre of our world and loved so much its untrue!
Your puppy is absolutely gorgeous and will give you all so many years of fun and entertainment! Enjoy!
Puppy and baby = hard work! Been there! Wait a year? Or did you already give that puppy a home? :) We got our puppy when G was one. They are now besties for life.
Super cute puppy!!! Your girls need a dog. :-)

ReplyDeleteWe love puppies...when they're in the neighbors' yards behind a fence! That's the type of pet we enjoy at our house!
