Me: rolling over in the warm bed -- Mmmhmm. Ready.
Justin: Only a few more hours! Woohoo!
------------
Me: So Mia, what kind of baby do you think is in mama's belly?
Mia: I don't know! But I want it to be a girl baby. If it's a girl baby, I'll just love it SOOOO much! *sigh* But...if it's a baby boy, I'll still love it a little bit.
------------
Me: Lauren, are you excited to go to mommy's Doctor appointment?
Lauren: Yeah! And we will see pictures of that baby in your belly and I will say Hi little baby girl!
Me: But what if it's a baby brother?
Lauren: NO! It's just a girl!
------------
Ultrasound Tech: Observing the girl-filled room. So we're hoping for a boy this time?
Me: Maybe! We just want to see!
Ultrasound Tech: Let me just take some measurements and things first, then we'll play around a bit...
------------
Ultrasound Tech: Okay, I've got all I need, now...let's just move...
Me: Gasping; unbelieving. WHAT...IS....THAT?!?
Ultrasound Tech: Laughing. That is your baby BOY!
Me: Aaaaaaaah! Tears dripping into ears.
Justin: YES!! That's my BOY!!
Mia: Smiling; giggling.
Lauren: Force-frowning; sweetly. I don't like boys.
THE END.
------------
THE BEGINNING.
Glad he wasn't too shy. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWHOO-HOO!!! Why are there tears in my eyes, too? Soo excited for you all!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! How exciting! Now onto snips, snails & puppydog tails!
ReplyDeleteI KNEW it! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh congratulations!!!!! It took all my strength to read through the whole post without quickly skipping to the end lol.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you guys! Our little man gets here this Sunday, I'll keep you posted on any boy vs girl differences hehe.
Awww, Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteOh, he's going to be so precious! And I can't wait 'til your Heavenly home is filled with little boy antics!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the mommy-of-boys club! Yay!!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry little Lauren was disappointed. I remember with this last pregnancy I was praying for a girl because my stepdaughters had endured *four* baby brothers in a row (two of mine, two of their mom's).
I'm so excited for you all! A little heavenly boy!
ReplyDeleteOh, hooray!! Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME. I love it. But then again...I am partial to boys!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Tina
Awww!! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI didn't weigh in on the gender guess earlier for fear of being wrong, but I hoped it would be a boy! Congrats - that's fantastic news!
ReplyDeleteYour girls are going to love having a baby brother!
Oh I love it!!! Congrats to the whole family!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! SO excited for your family to add a little BOY! It didn't take our Cloe hardly any time to realize that adding a boy meant more girl time for her with mommy someday! One kiss on that sweet new baby head, and I'm sure she'll be smitten!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! LOL. P.S. I <3 Lauren's responses. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how clear a teeny-tiny baby penis looks on the ultrasound screen?? =>
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!
What a wonderful surprise! Little boys are amazing! Congratulations Heavenly family!
ReplyDeleteI knew it!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! And the girls' thoughts and reactions totally made my day. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteBOYS ARE FUN. :)))
Congratulations! Boys are so fun. My favorite part of having boys is seeing them develop a "best friend" relationship with their dad, around age 2-3 in our experience.
ReplyDeleteTrusting that all is well with Baby BOY and you. :)
Congratulations! I'm happy for all y'all. I couldn't help but remember that I fathered 5 girls before I got my little boy. It never mattered to me that much, but now that I HAVE the little man the girls and I have found endless delight in his never-endding antics. Intelectually I always KNEW that boys and girls are different, but it has been so delightful to see those differences play out in behaviors. Let the good times continue!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Boys are really so much fun. Your girls will take to him in no time!
ReplyDeleteYay! Your "momtuition" was totally right! Congrats!
